You point out a great deal of human folly, but seem to have a sense of humor rather than anger or sadness about it. Is that a correct perception has that always been the case for you?

CHARLIE MUNGER 00:19

That’s a very correct perception. It’s my system. I’ve copied it from the Jews. I saw it work well from them, and it was my natural inclination anyway. And so, I – humor is my way of coping.

AUDIENCE MEMBER 00:40

What is your proudest accomplishment in life and why?

CHARLIE MUNGER 00:47

I don’t have a single accomplishment in life that I’m all that proud of. I set out to try and have more uncommon sense than most. Pretty limited objective. I am pleased I did as well as I did in that game.

And if I had to do it all over again, I think it’d be a lot harder. I think part of my success was being born in the right place at the right time. So, I’m not particularly proud of success that came from being born in the right place at the right time. I’m pleased but not proud.
